GROUNDSWELL

HELPING CORPORATIONS USE INTRAPRENEURSHIP TO INNOVATE FROM WITHIN

VENUE: Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre (Barbados)

Date: May 21ST, 2021

Developed for corporate teams

Explore the dynamics of "Corporate Grief" how to address it and how do delve deep into creating an effective environment for driving innovation from within using entrepreneurial principles and startup approaches that empower your teams

GROUNDSWELL DETAILS

Every company is as good as its team and that team is only as good as the people who make it up. What we often lose sight of, is the people who make up our teams and what they bring to the dynamics and ability of the team to be innovative. This is often at the source of what we call "Corporate Grief"

Understanding what your people makeup is and how to unearth the power from within is the first step to developing internal innovation.  Together you will DISCOVER how to identify the hidden values and inspire action and initiate responses to realise DEEP Innovation from within your team. You will learn how when you couple team dynamics with startup and entrepreneurial principles you can realise new possibilities.

In this iteration of GROUNDSWELL, we bring together a grief therapist and cognitive coach with a startup business acceleration facilitator and a VP of Corporate innovation and ventures to break down the stages of designing the team and environment for driving innovation from within and making it real and lasting.

Teams will go through exercises on how to identify, address and resolve "Corporate Grief" and remove it as an inhibitor to internal innovation. They will discover how to bridge the gap in organizations that are set up against using entrepreneurial principles for rapid growth. Everyone leaves with practical takeaways for focusing on deliberate innovation that can rapidly respond to market trends.

This is meant to be a highly immersive session with applied learning to help organisations identify their own triggers and empower their teams to meet consumer demands quickly, and ensure the company doesn’t get left behind or get stuck in the cycle of "Corporate Grief."
